ikordo Microsoft® Outlook Add-in now in Beta

Many of our users have asked for the ability to use ikordo directly from their e-mail systems and we have been listening!

The ikordo Outlook Add-In is now in BETA version. If you are interested in joining the BETA, email info@ikordo.com. Here are some of the things that you will be able to accomplish with the ikordo Microsoft Outlook Add-In:

  • Start and manage the ikordo scheduling process right from Outlook
  • Add meeting attendees directly from your contacts stored in Outlook
  • Take advantage of current Outlook calendar information to help find available times for your meetings

ikordo will keep the same functionality in acting like your virtual assistant and asking users about the availability and negotiating with your attendees until a meeting time is agreed. For further details download the Outlook Add-In Overview (PDF)

Please note that we are still working on the UI and final functionality, therefore there may be some changes when the product is made available.

Other e-mail & calendaring solutions

After Outlook, the next highest request is Gmail and Google Calendar™. You can now import your busy time from Google Calendar. This allows ikordo to build up a picture of your availability from the outset and make sure it excludes your already selected busy times. We are aiming to build a complete integration that will allow you to start and manage meetings, as well as utilize contacts directly from Gmail. We are aiming to make this available in the first half of 2008. Check back on the timelines. We will have a more definitive timeframe very soon.
